I am always on the lookout for great travel apps to help me on my adventures. Today, I've compiled a list of my favorite applications that have come in handy on more than one occasion!
With so many packing apps out there it is hard to choose, but I just love Packpoint! It has a clean interface and is user friendly. With this app I check my destination, dates of travel, activities I plan on doing and length of stay. It uses this information to give me a breakdown of the weather forecast and compile a list of suggested items to pack. Just too cool!
Wikitude is a free augmented reality app that delivers in depth information when you point your device at a particular landmark or sign. This app offers vast details about nearby hotels, restaurants, attractions and more!
A great app to organize all your travel plans in one place! Tripit uses information gathered from email and compiles a daily itinerary for your journey. It also provides automatic mobile notifications, so you'll know when your flight is delayed or cancelled.
I love Citymapper, a new app that provides its users with the shortest and easiest journey option (walking, biking, transit). It is great to use when planning trips online and makes it easy to save routes for later use. This app was great when we were in London! Currently it is only available for major metros (London, Vancouver, New York, Boston, etc...).
This app came in handy in London, when the mister and I hailed a cab that only took pounds! We were able to use the ATM Hunter to quickly find a spot to grab cash.
