In this post, I've compiled a few packing tips for packing the ultimate carry on to make the most of your space and ensure an enjoyable flight.
No matter where my travels take me, my carry on is typically the same. I carry a large tote with a long handle for comfort or a small backpack. I am currently carrying a Longchamp's Large Le Pilage tote. It's large, but light weight and fits most everything I will need for a long flight. The best part is it also fits whatever small purse I plan on using during my trip and shoes with room to spare!
Clear Pouch: Inside my carry on is a clear pouch for liquids. I prefer this pouch by Truffle since it is reusable and easy to clean.
Sleep: I rarely travel without a sleep mask and most recently purchased this eye mask and headphone combo by Halo. It is great! In my bag you will also find a neck pillow.
Comfort: Though it is not technically inside my carry on, a large scarf is a great item to have on the plane. It not only adds style, but works well as a blanket. Inside you will also find a pair of packable neutral flats, hair ties and compression socks. If I plan on wearing a hat, I typically include this item in my carry on as well.
Hydration: Hydration is the key when you are flying! I highly recommend investing in a Vapur Collapsible Travel Bottle. It rolls up small enough to fit in almost any bag and holds an entire liter of water. While drinking water is important, so is keeping your skin moisturized. I keep my skin hydrated with Kiehl's Eye Alert cream, SK-II Facial Treatment Masks and Dior Lip Glow in pink.
Refresh: Feeling clean and refreshed is vital when flying. I pack the following items to feel revitalized: mints/gum, deodorant, eye drops, wisps and toothbrush, spare undies (love these from Naja), q-tips and body wipes.
Don't forget the 3-1-1 rule when packing liquids for your carry-on.
